A Well Deserving Giveaway

Hi Everyone,

I do not have a recipe for you today, but I do have something that is sure to put a smile on your face and the face of others.  This opportunity came to me a pinch late and with other prior commitments this week, I didn’t have time to prepare a recipe.  But one thing you know is that I love Ocean Spray.  I have become kind of addicted to their Cranberry Diet Line.  Whenever I have had a BBQ this summer, I am sure to bring a bottle of Ocean Spray with me.  That way I stay away from the boos and other high calorie drinks.  I can drink the diet line completely guilt-free.  As you can see from past posts, I have made some wonderful creations using Ocean Spray such as my Cranberry Lemonade Popsicles.

Remember back in June when I talked about the Ocean Spray Sensational Awards?  You nominated someone who makes your day sunny and they could win a trip anywhere in the US. Well they narrowed it down to three deserving people and we need your help.

Here are the nominees:

Dee Lopez, 78, of Lomita CA; Lara Stanze, 46, of Smithville, MO; and Joe Coyle, 47, of Christiansburg, VA have never met, but they have one thing in common: all three have been selected as finalists to receive Ocean Spray’s Sun-sational Award, an all-expense-paid trip anywhere in the U.S., compliments of Ocean Spray® CranlLemonade™ and JetBlue Airways. Fans can vote to send their favorite finalist on a sun-sational summer getaway now through Thursday, July 25 on Ocean Spray’s Facebook page.

I nominated The Dream Maker, Lara Stanze.  Such a wonderful story and Lara is sure deserving of a getaway.  You have to read her story.  I won’t tell you about it but it’s heart breaking and yet at the end it is rewarding to others.
