I joined the YMCA in my neighborhood and started going every weekend!
I signed up for a spring marathon so I’ve pretty much been running…Might I say this winter has been HORRIBLE!
Coming off of an especially cold Michigan winter, I love spring and the renewed hope and feeling of a fresh start that it brings! I am going to clean up my eating (again!!) and try a new recipe at least once a week. I also want to get back outside and take my yellow lab, Sophie, back on her daily walks–great for both of us!

As the grocery shopper, every unhealthy snack in the house is here because I bought it … often at a great price w/coupon. If I purchase healthy fruit and veggies, healthy cereals and healthier and fewer bread choices … it isn’t rocket science that the family eats better. The carbs, sugars, sodium and calories are better
I did my first round of the 21 Day Fix this month! It has certainly kicked my butt back into gear 🙂
I have been watching what I eat and on the treadmill as much as possible. waiting for warmer weather to get outside with the dog.
Oh, I’m obsessed with Beachbody On Demand and I’ve incorporated the 21 day Fix eating plan into my life and that my family. We’re all much more energetic and we’ve gotten pretty as a bonus!
I am a daily morning jogger and I try to do other things throughout the day to keep active (like crunches on the floor while my children are playing). I’ve also recently started eating a lot better, eliminating processed foods and am feeling great!
Taking the stairs at work.
Unfortunately I am recovering from a bad case of epichondylitis so I am focusing on cardio, cardio, cardio while I let my upper body heal! Can’t wait to feel better and get back to toning my upper body!
I’ve started doing the 21 day fix videos.
I signed up at Crunch fitness and have been taking the classes they offer. Zumba, chisel, spin and extreme bootcamp are my favorites.
walking and running. Glad the weather is improving so it will be warmer!
Dance fitness and eating better
I’ve been getting up at 4:45 to go to the gym before work!
I joined my local gym LA Fitness and have been running and attending yoga classes to keep fit and healthy!
I joined my local gym and started going to spin classes 2-3 times a week. The instructor lead classes really help keep me motivated.
Started training with my son. He is a certified personal trainer and he is kicking my butt.
I have given up white… as in white sugar, flour, rice, potatoes, bread, etc. Hasn’t been easy and I have to read every label. Bread is the worst, because, well I love bread. I also joined the gym and I attend four days a week. To date I have lost 5 pounds and lowered my blood pressure. I also am training for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, it is in July in San Francisco. I would love it if you want to join me.
Lots and lots of You Tube videos…6 days a week, and no repeats so my body and muscles don’t get used to something. It has been fun and I have found some fabulous trainers to follow.
I meal prep on Sundays! I’ve also started a 12 week workout program with my two sisters. I finish next Friday!
We walk 1-1 1/2 hours 3-4 times a week.
I got myself a personal trainer! Trying to lose 40lbs! Ive been walking for an hour every day and doing all of my workouts with my trainer. No soda and no more chips! D: Ive lost 10 so far!
Cutting back the calories and increasing exercise time
I am a frequent Jazzerciser and have been trying to expand my exercise and try new to me classes (core and strength, cardio drumming). I also just completed my first body transformation challenge and loved seeing my results! As far as food, I have been incorporating more protein and maintaining my healthy diet. Thanks for this-what a fun giveaway 🙂
Eating better, using the elliptical machine daily and doing weight training a few times a week!
I have been walking longer distances with our two dogs.
I added a personal size elliptical machine to my office to use when I’m on conference calls and bought a Jawbone UP to track my steps. Didn’t realize how inactive I really was.
I’m exercising every day & trying to increase the weights I’m using to tone my muscles.
I’ve been trying to walk more (greater distance, faster, and more challenging paths) and lift weights.
I have been lifting weights at home and going on walk on the beach 🙂
I go to the gym 4 days a week to stay active and fit. It’s what I called “me time”. Helps to work of the stress from life!

Now that the weather is breaking and I can see the sidewalks again I am off to my running routine with a bike ride in the evenings
The elliptical 5 days a week for 1 hour, planks, and weight training. It feels so good. And good for me.
I started by making a goal of getting my gut healthy. Finding out about multiple food intolerances made me feel angry and different. But by finally coming to the realization that I needed to take charge things started to change. After making the right food changes I slowly started to add exercise and then light resistance. Now almost 20 pounds lighter and feeling better than I have in a very long time (I still faulter) I realized I am on the road to a healthier version of me.
I’m buying more fruits and vegetables and taking a daily walk too.
I am trying to eat healthy, do challenging workouts
I’ve been strength training 3-4 days a week and trying to eat clean 80% of the time. I also started eating more fresh fruit, less cereal, and have cut back on alcohol.
I’m afraid I haven’t started doing any exercising yet this year. I have started eating healthier – a lot of fruits & vegetables and holding back on sweets and breads (well trying to). As soon as the weather breaks I plan on walking.
I started playing sports again and have been doing two a days at the gym!
I have a gym membership and I usually do my own thing at the gym, but since the New Year, I have been trying some of the group exercise classes to mix up my routine. It has been great!
Our Y has a Live Strong Fitness Program that started in January and I joined. We meet twice a week for all different kinds of exercise: yoga, weights, cardio, balance training, etc. Tonight we are doing Jazzercise, I can hardly wait. The program is to get cancer survivors back into exercising and find something we really love and will want to do for the rest of our lives. I am a breast cancer survivor and am really enjoying getting my strength and confidence back again.
I’ve been including my kids in my postpartum workout- it’s the only way I seem to get it done 🙂
I’ve continued to do my cardio 6 days a week and meet my trainer 3x/wk. Just took my first megareformer pilates class today and completely hooked. Happy tp add something new and challenging to my routine.
I got a FitBit for my birthday and have been walking as much as possible.
I have been going to the gym and drinking water.
I’ve been working out at the gym 5 days a week (2-HIIT style classes, Bodycombat, swimming, and weights). And I’ve been making better choices with food and movement. Trying to make this different this time and not yo-yo again.
Been doing yoga every day.
