Individual Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Cups #SundaySupper

October 19, 2014 By Jennifer @ PB and P Design 43 Comments

Hi Everyone,

Today for #SundaySupper our mission was to create a budget friendly meal. After a lot of thought, I thought the most budget friendly meal was breakfast. After all breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it also can be the least expensive to make. With the Fall season upon us I thought I would make a wonderful, seasonal breakfast that won’t hurt the pocket book.
Individual Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Cups #SundaySupper
Today I made for you Individual Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Cups. Yum! These little oatmeal cups scream Fall. They have a wonderful pumpkin flavor with warm spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and sweetened with maple syrup. You should have smelled it baking, amazing!
Individual Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Cups #SundaySupper
Each bite is thick, hearty and delicious. I topped my pumpkin oatmeal cups with pecans to give a little crunch and well I love pecans with pumpkin. I think they go together wonderfully. This is the perfect budget friendly meal because oatmeal is very cheap to buy and the rest f the ingredients are pretty cheap too. Plus this recipe makes 18 oatmeal cups. One cup is very filling so you have 18 days worth of breakfast. I freeze my oatmeal cups and microwave one when I am ready to eat it.
Individual Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Cups #SundaySupper
Since these muffin cups are not super sweet, I added a drizzle of maple syrup over the top, which intensifies the flavor. I am truly pleased with this recipe. If you’re a pumpkin oatmeal fan, I think you will feel the same.

Breakfast is the one meal I tend to slack on because I never plan ahead enough. I can totally see myself making a batch of these oatmeal cups ahead of time then having breakfast throughout the week.

Happy Monday! I’m sharing with you a rare view o Happy Monday! I’m sharing with you a rare view of my kitchen. What’s so rare about it! It’s clean. 🤣
.
So this weekend our refrigerator broke. The freezer no longer works and the fridge is not getting cool enough. Ugh!! We bought our Whirlpool refrigerator about 4 years ago and spent near $3000 for it. It sure didn’t last long.
.
After reading reviews on a million refrigerators, they all seem like crap. I need your help! Do you have a refrigerator that you recommend?
.
I saw a Frigidaire one that we are debating on, but not sure? The reviews are good, but says, they were collected from a promotion. So I’m not sure how much I trust that? Anyway, any recommendations that you have would be great!
.
Have a great day!

My brother Sully 🐶 who is a 2 year old Yellow Labrador has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in March and has gone through radiation treatment and is currently doing chemo. He’s been really ill and mamas main focus has been taking care of him. She hopes to be back soon.

Happy Tuesday! I know it’s been awhile since I h Happy Tuesday! I know it’s been awhile since I have shared anything with you. I have been busy cleaning up the yard, and my day job has been so busy. Hope you are doing well.
🐰
I have been decorating the house for Easter and Spring. I love how this little space turned out. I am loving the bright pastels. I added my new bunny/chick pillow that I got from @12timbers. It matches so perfectly and it’s so cute. I also couldn’t resist the chick pillow from Target.

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I mus Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I must say I was disappointed in the Super Bowl. I really wanted the 49ers to win. Anyway, this weekend I refreshed my guest bathroom.
🐰
I have to say my new favorite item is the towel holder. It’s so cute and practical. I don’t have a hand towel rack and I hated leaving my towels on my counter. I saw the towel holder from Target and had to get it. It’s the Hearth and Hand brand.
🐰
I added some bunnies for Spring and a touch of pink for some color. The hand towels are from Homegoods. They have so many bunnies and Easter decor. I had to control myself because I was with my husband. I may go back.
🐰
Have a great day!!

Happy Monday!! I have to confess to you. I still h Happy Monday!! I have to confess to you. I still have Christmas in my kitchen.😳 I don’t know where to put it, so I haven’t taken it down. It’s not a lot, but just enough to where I can’t fit it. Ugh! Please tell me I’m not the only one.
💕
I did do one little spot for Valentines, which I think is so cute. I love decorating with Valentines candy. I can’t resist the pinks and the conversation hearts. I do not plan on going all out decorating this season, as time is going so fast, but I may add some hearts here and there.

Hi Everyone! With spring around the corner, now is Hi Everyone! With spring around the corner, now is the time to get your chores done, so when the warmer weather arrives you can enjoy it. My goal is to refresh my bedroom. I am slowly getting rid of stuff that I no longer need and slowly adding new decor. So hopefully in a few weeks it will be done. #twopageshome
♥️
The first thing I added are these stunning customized curtains that I was gifted from @twopagescurtains. Guys, I’m in love! The curtains are just so pretty! I am loving the way it shades the sun, but still lets the light in. Exactly the look I was going for.
♥️
The curtains I chose are the “Liz Linen Drape Soft”. They are a linen curtain that is environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic, long lasting, dust preventative, and breathable. They are also wrinkle free. I didn’t have to steam them. They came right out of the package ready to hang. They also come in 38 colors and 7 shadings to choose from. There is an option for everyone.
♥️
I’ll be honest I was intimidated on ordering custom curtains. I was so afraid I would order them wrong, but I didn’t. Two Pages has a measurement finder that asks you a few easy questions and boom you have your custom curtain size. It was so simple.
♥️
If you are looking for some new curtains or shades for your home, I highly recommend Two Page Curtains. I absolutely love them. They were kind enough to give my followers an 8% discount code: PBANDP. Link in bio
♥️
Are you planning on refreshing any spaces?

Happy Friday! Hope you had a wonderful holiday sea Happy Friday! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I am slowly working on taking my Christmas decor down. I still have my tree up, but I love the twinkling lights, and the real reason is I need my husband to get the box out of the garage. lol
💙
I am going with blues in the living room. I just find blue calming and peaceful. The first area I styled is the coffee table. Sorry about the views. I have a small, thin living room.
💙
I decided to go light on the decor and add some fresh faux greenery. I hate leaving the remote controls out, so I decided to store them in a decorative box. Everything here, but the white box was bought at Target.
💙
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I Hi Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. It was low key for us, as it was just my husband and I. We had dinner at my daughters house on Christmas Eve. That was nice.
🎄
I am sharing my last view of my living room before I take down my Christmas decor. I will leave some of the winter type greens, but I think I’m going to add some blues. I have always liked blue after the holidays. It just gives the room a light and clean look.
🎄
I want to say sorry for lack of posting. It’s just so time consuming engaging. I hate spending countless hours on my phone. It has made me physically lazy and it hurts my eyes. I have put on so much weight because all I do is sit. I really need to change this habit. Anyway! I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
