I decided to create a zinnia garden this year and I am so excited to see it bloom. A few flowers started to show. I didn’t want Sully 🐶 in the garden, so I put a fence around it. It worked for about 3 weeks. I was on stories yesterday, showing other parts of the garden and I turned around and saw Sully in my garden. I must have screamed so loud. He was stuck in there and panicking because I was. I got him out and no damage to any of the flowers. That was scary!

I just love this time of year! The weather has been just beautiful outside. I have spent so much time working in the yard and just enjoying the sun and warm weather. I am a total summer person.

Happy Tuesday! This weekend my husband and I went cherry picking. It was so fun! We got so many cherries. I’m guessing about 9 pounds. I have no clue how two people are going to eat 9 pounds of cherries? But we will try.

I am so happy we were actually able to pick cherries. We missed out the past couple of years. The season comes up so fast and only lasts a couple of weeks. Plus it gets so busy that the traffic is awful. That’s one thing about California is the traffic is so bad here that it takes the joy out of doing things. But not this year! I got my cherries!!

Happy Wednesday! Boy the weather has been so chilly here. It was in the mid 50’s yesterday and we are supposed to be in the 90’s by Saturday. Such crazy weather. I bought plants this weekend, and hoping I can get them in the ground.

I am sharing with you my Everblooming Hydrangea. This is a full sun hydrangea. I planted it last year and it did so crappy. I was shocked to see so many flowers on it. We have had a relatively cool Spring, so it’s been happy. Today it got hot out and I just went out to look at the hydrangea and it’s shriveling. So I need to capture this moment before it poops out this summer.

Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the week. I can’t believe that this weekend is Mothers Day. It just seems early this year. I am not sure what are plans are going to be this weekend?

Happy Tuesday! Boy allergy season has hit me hard. I have been sneezing like crazy and then my nose runs. Ugh! I never have allergies. It must be all the crazy weather. We’ve had high winds since last Tuesday and temps in the 70’s. Tomorrow mid 90’s, then back to the 70’s. No wonders my allergies are acting up.

I’ve been adding a little decor to my patio area. I love adding pillows and blankets for pops of color and to give a cozy feel. One of my newest additions is my new Verdure Wooden Candle Lantern that I got from @icosiest_furniture. It adds a romantic ambience in the evening.

The lantern is made from Fir wood and has a beautiful jute handle. The lantern can be hung or placed on a table. The candle is battery operated and looks so beautiful flickering in the evening. Swipe the photo to see it.

I love the style of the lantern and it would also look fabulous styled indoors. I can see the lantern on a shelf, centerpiece or on a console table.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend. We had such beautiful weather. It was in the 70’s and sunny. I did a lot of work outside. Got some plants planted and rearranged my patio because I was #gifted a new dining set from @alphamartsus

I am so excited to have an outdoor dining set. It’s going to be so fun to eat dinner outside, in front of my zinnia garden and water fountain. I’m so excited, you have no idea.

The dining set is the PHI VILLA Rattan Dining Chairs Set with Extendable Table Patio Dining Set. The set I have is the 9 piece, but they also have a 7 piece set. You have your choice of chairs, cushioned or high back. I like the high back. The chair gives great support and is so comfortable to sit on.

The table is made of high quality metal with a special powder coating that will with stand the outside elements. The table is 60” long but can be extended to 83”. It’s so easy to extend the table. The leaf is built in and just flips to make the table longer or shorter. Swipe to see the leaf and how long the table is extended. The first few pictures, the table is extended to 60”.
