Happy Wednesday! I thought I would share with you my fireplace mantle that I styled for Fall. I went light on the decor because of the darn tv and my husbands must have speakers.

To add a little warmth, I took a table runner and folded it in half and put it on the mantle. For the pumpkin LED candles on the tray, I got them from Target last year. They don’t carry them this year, but Joanne Fabrics does. Great price too, plus they have coupons.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend? I pretty much stayed home this weekend and did some cleaning. My husband has started reupholstering the sofa, which is so nice, but gosh he has his stuff in every room. He’s a messy DIYer. lol

I did redecorate my kitchen cart. I love the new look. It took me about 4 hours to decorate. I was struggling. I knew some key pieces that I wanted to use, but how to incorporate what I already have on hand without running out and buying anything new. I think it came out pretty good. The little plates with the napkins on it are valentines plates with a red heart. lol

Today @krumpetshomedecor is having a pumpkin event, so much fun! You know how I love my pumpkins! The rusty orange Rope Pumpkins on the bottom shelf of my cart is a new release from Krumpets Home Decor. They are so cute. I also them in a beautiful cream color. Happy Thursday! Wow! We have had some crazy weathe

Happy Thursday! Wow! We have had some crazy weather since Sunday. It’s been raining on and off, thunder and lightning and cooler temps but slightly humid. It was so cool. It’s very rare for us to get this kind of weather. We haven’t see rain since about March so it was so nice.

I am slowly working on decorating my living room and started working on my shelves. Well, I only completed the top. I need to work on the other shelves. I’ll finish by the end of the weekend.

While I was decorating I burned my new Pumpkin Shape Dough Bowl Candle from @hiveandhomeshop. Oh my gosh! It smells amazing. The scent is Pumpkin Apple Butter. It’s a blend of fresh apples and sugar blended with just the right amount of pumpkin and spice. It’s a fabulous scent. It’s not overly heavy! Absolutely perfect!

When you burn out your candle you can clean it out and use the dough bowl it for decoration or you can buy a 1 pound refill kit and make your very own candle. How fun is that!!

Happy Tuesday! The Frankie’s moved to a new home this weekend and they told me that they are very happy with there new accommodations.

Happy Monday! It’s that time of year again where

Happy Monday! It’s that time of year again where I share with you a picture of bathing pumpkins, but it’s not bleached pumpkins like I have done the past few years. This is a vinegar bath.

I went for a vinegar bath for a couple of reasons, number were my dogs. They can lick and eat the pumpkin and the vinegar won’t hurt them, or animals and the critters outside.

However, as a side note; for a bleach bath, Clorox states that the bleach disappears in the sun and won’t hurt any animals if they were going to eat it. I didn’t want to chance it.

Vinegar kills the fungus and makes it hard for the pumpkin to rot. Your pumpkin should last throughout the season and even maybe to a Christmas?

To make a Vinegar Bath:
10 parts water
1 part distilled vinegar
A pinch of dishwashing soap

Place pumpkins in vinegar bath and let soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

Dry pumpkins well with a towel, especially around the stem.

My pumpkins were pretty sticky and dirty when I got them home. I didn’t scrub the pumpkins, and put them in the bath. All the dirt and stickiness came off without scrubbing them.

Happy Thursday! I finally found my Halloween Bin. It was under my bed. I forgot that I liquidated a lot last year and was able to get everything into a small bin. It it took me weeks to find it. So silly!

I decorated most of my kitchen and I’m loving the black and white. It’s so fun and looks so clean. My husband told me yesterday that I’m a little batty. lol

I still need to work on the coffee bar, which will be easy and I have to clear off the counters on the other end of the kitchen. I hope to complete that at by the weekend.

Happy Wednesday! I am falling behind on decorating my home for Fall. I have the bins out, but need to put away the Summer. I have no clue where I am going to put it?

It’s hard to get motivated during the week, since I work during the day. Going to try to get some decorating done today because this weekend the pumpkin patch opens up and I want to get a bunch of pumpkins. I’m so excited!

Hello Tuesday! I finally finished centerpiece for my dining room. I go light on my tables because my dining room is pretty small, and my table is only 5’ x3’. Sometimes it’s so hard having a small house, but I imagine if you have a large one, you have things you have to deal with also.

I decided to go with rusty oranges and golds to match my wreath that I shared with you yesterday. The dining room blends well with the living room, however the rooms are separated by my Halloween kitchen. lol You do what you like. I couldn’t decide on Fall or Halloween, so I chose both.

Hi Everyone! This weekend I did a lot of cleaning and decorating, but didn’t finish anything. I started in the living room, then the dining room and I got nothing completed. I even deep cleaned 1/2 the kitchen. It’s hard to clean with my husband home.

I did hang my wreath that I picked up from Target. I just love the colors. It’s simple and adds a nice pop of color to the dining room. Now I need to redecorate my dining table. It’s 1/2 done as we speak. lol

I used a Command hook to hang the wreath. The weight of the Command hook is 2 pounds. The mirror I bought years ago from Homegoods.
