Apple Pie Frozen Yogurt

A sweet frozen yogurt made with apple cider, cinnamon and fresh apples, topped with whip cream and crushed cinnamon and sugar pita chips.
Serves: 1 Heaping Cup
  • 1 cup greek yogurt plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1½ tsp spiced apple cider
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. stevia
  • ¼ tsp. apple pie spice or ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup apple, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon and sugar pita chip, crushed
  1. In a freezer safe container add yogurt, apple cider, vanilla extract, stevia and spice. Mix until combined and place in the freezer for 1 - ½ hours.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, add apple, cinnamon and brown sugar. Mix until combined and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. Take the frozen yogurt out and mix with a spoon, until ice cream consistency. Add apple mixture and mix again. Place in a bowl and top with whip cream and crumbled pita chips.
