Lime and garlic seasoned chicken with onions and peppers served in a flour tortilla.
Serves: 8 Servings
Ingredients
1 packet of McCormick Garlic and Lime Seasonings
¼ cup lime juice
¼ cup orange juice
2 tbsp. olive oil
1.20 lbs of chicken, sliced into strips
1 large sweet pepper, cut into strips
½ medium onion, cut into strips
8 flour tortilla (8 inch)
Instructions
Mix juices, oil and all of the spices and salt in a small bowl. Reserve ¼ cup marinade. Place chicken in a large resealable bag or glass dish. Add remaining marinade, turn to coat, well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor.
Cook and stir chicken in a large heated skillet on medium - high heat for 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet. Add bell pepper, onion and reserved marinade; cook and stir for 5 minutes or until tender. Return chicken to skillet.. Cook for 2 -3 minutes or until heated through.
Spoon chicken mixture into warmed tortilla. Serve with assorted toppings if desired.
