A sweet, savory and spicy burger made with fresh cherries and topped with Cherry Jam and Balsamic Glaze.
Serves:
4 - 4.5 oz burgers
Ingredients
16 oz ground beef, lean
¼ cup cherries, pitted, chopped small
10 jalapenos, pickled, chopped small
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. dijon mustard
1 dash salt
4 English Muffins (I used 100 calorie muffins)
4 tbsp. cherry quick jam or cherry perserves (optional)
2 tsp. balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
Preheat grill to medium heat
In a bowl, add ground beef, cherries, jalapenos, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Mix until combined.
Divide into 4 equal portions and flatten out to a hamburger shape.
Place burgers on grill. Cook for about 7 - 8 minutes on the first side, flip and cook for an additional 3 - 5 minutes.
Serve Hamburger on a English Muffin and top with cherry quick jam and balsamic glaze.
