Light, fluffy cheesy biscuits that is a perfect copycat recipe to Red Lobsters Biscuits.
Recipe type: Bread
Cuisine: Amercan
Serves: 12 biscuits
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 tbsp. butter, cold, cut in small pieces
  • ¾ cup + 2 tbsp. non-fat milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, reduced fat, shredded
  • Topping
  • 3 tbsp. butter, melted
  • ½ tsp. parsley, dried
  • ¼ tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder and mix until well combined. Add the butter and with two forks, break the butter into the flour mixture until the flour looks like pea shape and crumbly. I used my hands to do this.
  4. Add cheese and mix until combined. Add the milk and mix until just combined.
  5. Take about ¼ cup amount of dough and drop onto baking sheet. If the dough is too crumbly to drop, just use your hands to slightly shape into a ball. That's what I did.
  6. Bake in oven for 15 - 17 minutes, until the sides turn lightly golden.
  7. Meanwhile; in a microwave safe bowl, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Stir in parsley, Old Bay Seasoning and salt. Mix until combined. Brush butter mixture over biscuits, as soon as they come out of the oven.
  8. Serve immediately.
