A vegan, gluten free raw cookie dough ball made with natural peanut butter and apple sauce and seasoned with cinnamon. The perfect little 31 calorie snack!
Serves: 35 balls
Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
  • ¾ cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1 cup oat flour(I used Trader Joe's Gluten Free)
Instructions
  1. Line a plate or baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, add peanut butter, apple sauce, cinnamon and maple syrup. Mix until combined. Stir in oat flour, mix until combined.
  3. Take about a teaspoon size of the batter and roll into a ball (it will be slightly soft). Place on prepared baking sheet. They can be put close together. Do the same with remaining batter.
  4. Place the balls into the freezer and freezer until slightly harden, about an hour or so.
  5. Store the balls in a freezer safe bag or in the refrigerator.
  6. Note: To make oat flour, add one and half cups of oatmeal in a food processor (I used my mini processor). Pulse a few times until the consistency of a crumbly flour.
