A healthy, quick, easy,tender steamed chicken cooked in chicken broth and fresh lemon juice served with steamed broccoli.
Serves: 8 oz chicken and 2 cups broccoli
Ingredients
8 oz chicken, skinless boneless
1 dash salt
½ - 1 tsp. pepper (depends how much you like)
¼ cups chicken broth
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tsp dill, dry or fresh
¼ tsp. garlic powder
2 cups broccoli
Instructions
In a skillet add chicken, salt, pepper, chicken broth, lemon juice, dill and garlic powder and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for 5 minutes more or until chicken is no longer pink.
Once chicken is done, add broccoli to the pan and cover with lid; cook for one minute.
