Lemon Chicken and Broccoli

A healthy, quick, easy,tender steamed chicken cooked in chicken broth and fresh lemon juice served with steamed broccoli.
Serves: 8 oz chicken and 2 cups broccoli
Ingredients
  • 8 oz chicken, skinless boneless
  • 1 dash salt
  • ½ - 1 tsp. pepper (depends how much you like)
  • ¼ cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dill, dry or fresh
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 cups broccoli
Instructions
  1. In a skillet add chicken, salt, pepper, chicken broth, lemon juice, dill and garlic powder and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for 5 minutes more or until chicken is no longer pink.
  2. Once chicken is done, add broccoli to the pan and cover with lid; cook for one minute.
  3. Serve on it's own or over rice or pasta.
