A crispy, savory little wonton filled with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
Serves: 30 Wontons
Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese, fat free
1 oz lite mozzarella cheese shredded
¼ cup pizza sauce (I used Trader Joe's)
8 slices pepperoni, sliced into eigths
30 wonton wrappers, I used round shaped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set a side
In a bowl, add cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, and pepperoni; mix until combined.
Line the wontons onto parchment paper and evenly divide the cheese mixture into the center of the wontons, about a teaspoon per wonton.
Dip your finger into some water and rub along the edges of the wonton. Carefully fold the wonton in half and make sure the sides are sealed. I used the ends of a fork to make little tine marks and to give an extra seal.
Bake in oven for 11 - 15 minutes until lightly golden.
