Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well. It’s been busy week so far. My day job gets crazy this time of year trying to close everything out before the holidays and I’ve been busy at home trying to organized and clean for the holidays, plus I am in a home tour on Friday, which I’m excited about.

I wanted to share with you my experience with @wildgrainbox. Omg! The box has exceeded my expectations! So far I have tried the Sour Dough Harvest Bread, Sour Dough Loaf, Fettuccini Pasta and Croissants. The croissants are amazing! They taste like they came from a fancy bakery.

The Fettuccini pasta tastes homemade. I was worried about the portion size, as my husband likes a lot of pasta. For two people you are stuffed, but would comfortably feed 3. It was easy to cook and only took 6 minutes to make. My husband, who is picky was impressed.

The bread, oh the bread! When you bake your bread, your home smells like a bakery. So cozy and inviting. What really impressed me the most is that the bread didn’t get hard as a rock a few days after baking it. I just wrapped the leftovers in aluminum foil. The Harvest Bread made amazing toast. I enjoyed it each morning with my coffee. The Sour Dough Loaf, my husband and I ate in one day. 😂

Everything is shipped in dry ice and you place directly in the freezer. When you’re ready to bake, take out of the freezer and place in the oven. This even goes with the croissants. No rising time needed. Easy to follow directions on each package.

Wild Grain is a subscription box, and you can cancel anytime. The bread is made in small shops and uses clean ingredients. For each subscription Wild Grain donates 6 meals to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Happy Tuesday! I’m sharing with you my annual dressed up jars with twinkle lights.

I am using the faux blanket snow for the jars, but I was going to use sugar, but I fear I would attract ants. Ants are bad this time of year where I live. Though I have seen people use salt which is a fantastic idea.
❄️
I had a little bit of a difficult time with the pesky twinkle lights. I highly recommend getting lights with timers, so you don’t have to mess with them again.
❄️
Everything that I used for the jars all came from Target. I placed these jars on my shelves at my coffee station. I just love watching them at night when the lights come on. Such a simple and fun DIY.

Happy Monday! I finally ordered my Christmas cards this weekend. Walgreens prices are really good when you use their coupon. That is a chore well done, as it kind of stressed me out not ordering them.

This weekend I also made my Simmering Potpourri. I went with a light fresh scent by using eucalyptus, oranges and lemons from my tree. I added cranberries to look pretty, but I don’t think they add a scent?

I like this simmering potpourri as I am not much one for cinnamon. I am not big on warm scents with cinnamon and cloves. Though I do love that scent when you’re baking an apple pie.

I used fresh eucalyptus that I picked up from Trader Joe’s. Though next time I would go a little lighter on the eucalyptus. I thought it was strong, but my husband did not. Next time I may try the herb rosemary. I bet that would smell amazing too.

Happy last day of November! Can you believe it? That’s so crazy. Where did this month go?

I am sharing with you my cocoa station that I put together a couple of weeks ago. I am proud to say that the dogs have not bothered with it. I’m actually shocked.

I have to say I really love the sled on the wall. I wasn’t sure what to put there and I thought why not try the sled. I think it looks pretty good.

What’s nice is I can change out the reds and add some blues or pinks and keep the cocoa bar throughout the winter. It’s such a fun addition to have to your home.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are now in the home stretch to Christmas. Twenty-six more days to go. I am not ready yet.

This week I worked on my bedroom and I have to say what a difference. It was becoming a collect all space, but now it’s all so clean. I smile every time I walk by my room.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I can’t believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving! This month has flown by so quick. I am sharing with you my Christmas tablescape.

I received the most beautiful Christmas tree plates from @backcountrymercantile. They are simply stunning. They are hand painted and are a treasured piece. I love them so much and that’s an understatement. I created my tablescape around these beautiful plates.

I also received the little white house gift boxes from my friend Karen @karen.t.ology. They are going to be filled with Christmas trinkets to give my guests on Christmas. I also displayed a couple of boxes on my shelf over my coffee bar. They will make a fabulous gift box to fill with baked goods, ornaments and more to give to guests, or as a hostess gift and neighbors.
