Spring into Summer Tablescape

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be here with 29 fabulous bloggers to share with you different ways of welcoming Spring into Summer. You are going to find so much inspiration in this group, from home decor, gardening, recipes and more. I have shared the links for everyone below.

My tablescape is about celebrating summer days with fresh flowers and lemonade.  I kept it light and simple, and I let the tablescape to speak for itself.

When I style my table, I like to layer and repeat the decor. I started the layering by adding circular placemats. My table is only 5 feet long, so circular placemats give it more space, then rectangle. If I were serving less people, I may use rectangle.

My next layer is a charger. I love using chargers!  I went with white to keep it fresh and light. For the plates I always use a basic white plate. I like to add a pop of color by adding a salad plate with a fun design. Plus when purchasing plates, I just buy the salad plates. It adds the color and design that I am going for and it gives me more room for storage. Living in a small home, I try to do what I can to save on space.

On the centerpiece I like to go light, with a bold statement. I love a grand centerpiece, but with a small space, I need to go the less is more route. I like to using fresh flowers that are in season. I was able to pick up these gorgeous Lilacs from Trader Joe’s. I placed them in thin vases, which will make them easy to move, if I were to need more table space.  Plus how pretty is the purple with the yellow?

For fun, I added this cute drink station. I added fresh lemonade with lemon slices and a few sprigs of mint. The mint really makes it taste so refreshing. I also added some sparkling lemonade and glasses. Though, let me tell you, I bought the drink dispenser from Target. It’s part of the new Hearth and Hand summer collection and it leaked all over the place, so I do not recommend it. That was not a fun mess to clean.

I hope you enjoyed my Spring to Summer Tablescape. I had so much fun putting this together and I can’t wait to see what the others do. Have the most lovely day.
