Hi Everyone,
Today for #SundaySupper we are sharing with you lighter side recipes. I have to admit, since after Christmas I have been really trying to keep with the lighter side of things. I have been drinking lots of smoothies for breakfast, light lunches and dinners with protein, vegetables and a healthy carbs. I have been pretty happy with my progress. Today I am sharing with you a new smoothie recipe that is packed full of vitamins and fiber. With this wintery cold weather, I have been trying to get in more vitamin C and nothing beats freshly squeezed orange juice for a big kick of vitamin C.
My smoothie is made with orange juice, banana’s and peaches. Such a nice light refreshing combination. The first flavor you get is a nice orange flavor then you get a kick of peaches and the very last bit you taste a creamy banana. Yum! I think it is the perfect smoothie to have in the morning. Plus to zip it up and to give it a little touch of elegance, why not serve in a wine glass? There is no reason to have a smoothie in a regular old glass or plastic cup.
Here are the benefits of the smoothie.
