Hello,
I don’t know about you, but the last quarter of 2014, I slacked on exercise and my eating habits got out of control. I think it’s time to get back to good healthy habits for 2015. I know it’s the new year and everyone is all gong ho for about a month or two on being healthy then by the time March and April hit, it’s all out the window. I hate when I do that! That’s exactly what happened to me last year. Well this year I am really going to try. My goal is to eat better, get in some exercise and try to be a happier person all together. 2014 was a crazy year for me. My day job was out of control, way to many hours and because I’m salary, no overtime pay. It’s not worth it. I neglected my blog a bit and put so much pressure on myself to get my posts done that it gave me anxiety. I have felt better that I have been skipping a day during the week. Thank you for understanding that. Since it’s a new year I want to start fresh! More green smoothies, more fruit and more salads. I have to cut back on the burgers and fries, no matter how much I love them. I know this is all easier said then done, but I will put in the effort. So to start the year off right, I have posted my favorite healthy recipes to help us out. I promise that 2015 will be a healthier year for recipes.
Breakfast:
Power Up Blueberry Baked Oatmeal
Lunch:
Chipotle Southwestern Quinoa Salad
BBQ Chicken Salad with BBQ Ranch Dressing
Dinner:
Grilled Chicken with Balsamic Dijon Mustard
Smoothies & Drinks:

I think I have you covered for your main meals. Remember for snacks, stick to wholesome snacks like fruit, vegetables and yogurt. I’m going to try so much harder this year! I want 2015 to be a great year!
Have a super weekend!
Toodles,
Jennifer
I was so bad the past 3 weeks I kinda of scared myself–I know just what your talking about.
I really did feel better making the good choices–now if only I can just hold on to that feeling like you said for more than a few weeks.
I have a few of your recipes chosen to help.
So here’s to BRIGHT New Year.
Hi Nancy! Yes I know the feeling all to well. I do great for a month or so and then slowly slip back into bad eating habits. Life gets busy you grab easy not good for you food. You get stressed, you eat. This weekend I am getting rid of all my shouldn’t eat food and buying healthy replacements. My biggest part I need to do is add more vegetables into my diet. I slacked on that this past year.
Just think of how wonderful you will feel right now. Remember that feeling. You can do it! If I can do it, anyone can do it! It’s hard, but trust me it will pat off in the end!
Holding up my glass of water, cheers to you and here is to a BRIGHT new year! 🙂
