Hi Everyone,
I can not believe Thanksgiving is on Thursday! Where has the time gone? Are you planning on having a dinner party? If so, I have the perfect, easy dip to share with you, that you can share with your guests. This is my Vegetable Dill Dip. It’s creamy, full of dill and simply delicious, oh and a breeze to make.
To make my dip healthy I used Greek Yogurt and just a little bit of mayonnaise. It’s seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, garlic, parsley, onion and of course dill. Just mix it all together and it’s ready to serve in an hour. It is sure to be a crowd pleaser and no one has to know it’s made with greek yogurt. That’s our secret.
To make the dip, more appealing I decided to decorate some of my fresh veggies. I got a new Wavy Knife from Crisp Cooking. I just sliced my cucumbers to give them a cool wavy look. Nothing like making your vegetables more pretty. The Wavy Knife would be great t make wavy potatoes, squash and pumpkin. The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination.
For cutting my carrots, celery and bell peppers, I used the Pairing Knife from Crisp Cooking. The paring knife comes with a sharpener in the sheath, which is so convenient when it comes to sharpening your knife. It works like a dream.
I was totally lazy, but I served my vegetables and dip on my serving try. I thought it looked kind of cool and gave a rustic look. Just pick what you want and dip. No need for bringing out pretty trays, just use the cutting board.
- 1½ cups greek yogurt, plain
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tbsp. fresh dill weed
- 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1 Dash Worcestershire sauce
- Add all ingredients in a bowl, mix until well combined. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
This dip is truly fantastic and I love how pretty my vegetables look. Just add any vegetables that you love. Even crackers and pretzels would go great.
