Hi Everyone,
I have to admit life has been pretty busy lately. I used to have the basic schedule, go to work at 6am and come home at 2pm, exercise, make dinner and blog. That was pretty much my life. Then work started to get extremely busy for me and I have been working 50+ hours a week for months. Needless to say, I neglected exercise and I do not have much time to make a healthy dinner, if anything at all. That is why I am so happy to team up with Imagine Natural Creations. Now I can have a healthy, full of flavor dinner in under 10 minutes! You have no idea how happy that makes me.
Today’s recipe is a Louisiana Creole Shrimp served on a bed of Brown Rice. You know how much I love creole flavorings. Ever since my trip to New Orleans, I fell in love with southern dishes. Today’s dish is something to talk about. It’s so easy to make and the flavors, oh my gosh the flavors. It has a wonderful tomato flavor with hints of creole spice. But not to spicy, just perfect. Plus lots of tender, juicy shrimp. My family and I love it.
I used Imagine® Organic Culinary Simmer Sauces to make my quick under 10 minutes dinner. Not only is it quick to make, but it only contains 3 ingredients. How easy is that? I kind of cheated and used partially frozen already cooked shrimp, added it to my pan, added my Imagine® Organic Culinary Simmer Sauces in Louisiana Creole flavor, cooked it on low until the shrimp was defrosted and warmed. I spooned it over a top of brown rice. Easy peasy! can you believe under 10 minutes?
What I love about Imagine® Organic Culinary Simmer Sauces is that it is certified organic, the only simmering sauce that is organic. Plus it’s convenient, comes in a 10 oz pouch and serves 4 – 5 people. But I’ll be honest, my Husband and I loved it so much, we ate all of the servings. Hey, it tasted good and we couldn’t help ourselves. Plus it has no genetically engineered ingredients, no preservatives or artificial ingredients, no No added MSG and it is Gluten Free and Vegetarian. You could serve this with tofu if desired!
