Hi Everyone,
Well it’s official, Fall is pretty much here. It’s been cool mornings and evenings here in Northern California. I do love the Fall, but honestly I am not a winter person. Living in Buffalo it was the dreaded snow. In N. California it’s the rain, fog and dreary days. But one thing that can always perk me up is a hardy warm meal. Yes, it’s officially comfort food season. I think I have already been getting my winter belly ready. So with that all said, I thought I would share with you my personal favorite Fall recipes.
Beef and Barley Soup – Perfect with a light salad and crusty bread
Mom’s Meatloaf – This is a huge hit and I make it quite a bit in the cooler months
Stuffed Peppers – This is a classic recipe that I have been making for 20 years. My Husbands favorite!
Apples and Cinnamon Steelcut Oats – Wake up to this in the morning! OMG, the house smells amazing.
Apple Cider Baked Donuts – These are fun and cute and remind me of going to Tahoe
Apples and Cinnamon Breakfast Jar – A great breakfast for on the go
Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Bread – This is great, way better than Starbucks! 🙂
Pumpkin Pie Frappe – with and without coffee recipe – Most popular recipe to this day and I know why! It’s low calorie and tastes out of this world.
Pumpkin Spice Latte – Cuddle to a warm latte in the evening, go decafe if drinking at night.
Cranberry White Chocolate Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies – Loaded with flavor, excellent for freezing too.
Apples and Pork Loin in Crockpot – You’ll find a lot of pork and apple recipes on my blog. I love the combo and this is a quick easy one, since it’s made in the crockpot.
Beef Stew in Crockpot – Another family favorite. I am asked to make this a lot in the cooler months.
Chicken Pot Pie Soup in Crockpot – If you like Pot Pie, then this is the soup for you.
Italian Pork Tenderloin and Potatoes in Crockpot – This is a family favorite! I made it 4 times in 1 month!
Pumpkin Spice Scones – Starbucks Copycat – They taste great heated in the oven the next day!
Caramelized Apples in Crockpot – Love this as a dessert or sided with pork
Apple Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin – The Maple Glaze is amazing!
Delicata Squash and Cranberry Quinoa Salad – A nice light side dish that is also perfect for lunch
Fall Harvest Butternut Squash and Chicken Salad with Maple Dressing – The dressing is to die for in the salad
Acorn Squash stuffed with Sausage, Peppers and Onions – Guy Fieri inspired, lots of great flavor and the goat cheese adds a touch of creaminess.
Fall Harvest Brussels Sprouts – This is a great way to have your sprouts and perfect to accompany your Fall dinner
Dang, I could be here all day posting recipes, but I only posted the ones I make over and over again.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Toodles,
Jennifer
