Hi Everyone,
Today I teamed up with The Laughing Cow to bring you healthy, easy, tasty snack ideas. Well today I made a snack that is sure to please the palate. It is sweet, savory and one of my newest favorite snacks of all time. I call it the Sweet and Savory Strawberry and Cheese Snacks.
These little snacks are made with The Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Garlic & Herb Cheese that is topped with a slice of strawberry, basil and a small drizzle of balsamic glaze. It’s kind of my take on the caprese, but with more flair. I think my favorite part is the garlic flavor in the cheese that is accompanied by the sweetness of the strawberry, truly a match made in heaven.
I have been a fan of The Laughing Cow Cheese for years. I think they are so flavorful that you really don’t need a lot of added ingredients. I said it before, but one of my favorite ways to eat The Laughing Cow Cheese is simply by dipping crackers or pretzels in it.
- 1 wedge of The Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Garlic & Herb
- 4 multi-grain crackers
- 1 strawberry, sliced
- 1 basil leaf, thinly sliced
- balsamic glaze for drizzling
- Spread a ¼ of The Laughing Cow cheese onto each cracker, top with a slice of strawberry, sliced basil and drizzle with a little balsamic glaze.
The Laughing Cow Cheese comes in lots of flavors such as Creamy Swiss Garlic & Herb, Creamy Spicy Pepper Jack, Creamy Original Swiss, Creamy Light Swiss, Creamy White Cheddar, Creamy Mozzarella, Sun-Dried Tomato and & Basil, and Cream Swiss French Onion. There is one for everyone!
So next time you are looking for a tasty snack, check out The Laughing Cow Cheese. It’s normally located in the isle with the cheese, near the deli.
Have a great day!
Toodles,
Jennifer
