Yum Yum Wednesday Lightened Up Peach & Blueberry Cobbler, plus Reviews

Hi Everyone,

Today for Yum Yum Wednesday I am flashing back to a recipe that I made July 2013 for Sunday Supper.  It’s one of my favorite summertime desserts and is perfect for using fresh peaches and blueberries that are readily available right now.  It’s my Lightened Up Peach and Blueberry Cobbler.  It’s light, juicy, so full of flavor, and only 149 calories a serving!  You can’t beat that!   I simply love it.  It’s amazing sided with vanilla ice cream or whip cream.   Hmmmm, thinking I should make it this weekend.  You can get the recipe here.

It’s been a while but I have a new few products to share with you.

This is Honest Mango Lemonade. I picked this up at Whole Foods this weekend and I couldn’t wait to try it. It tastes delish! It’s light, refreshing and not too sour. You get a perfect mango flavor with a hint of lemon. I think it is the perfect thirst quencher. Plus I like that it is only 70 calories a cup and made with all natural ingredients. You should check it out next time you’re at the store. It’s a nice spin to lemonade.

Trader Joe’s Spicy Chicken Links. All I can say is I love them. They are 140 calories a link and a perfect substitute for Hot Italian Sausage, which is normally around 300 calories a link. I have some recipe ideas using it, so stay tuned.

So Delicious Almond Milk Coffee Creamer in plain and vanilla. If you love almond milk, this coffee creamer is right up your alley. The vanilla has a nice almond flavor with a hint of vanilla and is 15 calories a tablespoon. The plain is pure almond flavor to me. It comes in at 5 calories a tablespoon. So if you like your almond milk,  I can guarantee you will like these coffee creamers.  They are perfect for vegan, lactose intolerant and gluten-free people.  You can get more information here.

Since I am talking So Delicious Almond Milk products, I have also tried their new Almond Milk yogurt. Again, if you’re an almond milk lover you will LOVE the So Delicious Almond Milk Yogurt. I haven’t tried all the flavors yet, but I am partial to the chocolate and the vanilla ones. They are creamy, between 110 – 150 calories and contain at least 4 grams of fiber, vegan, dairy free and gluten-free.  Not to shabby!! These are perfect for people who are vegan or lactose intolerant. I recommend giving them a try.  You can get more information here.

Next Up Champagne Grapes. Normally I don’t do fruit reviews, but I thought these were just adorable. They are pretty and perfect for serving on a platter with cheese and crackers. I bought these at Whole Foods, but I do know Trader Joe’s carries them too. They are tiny, plump and sweet. I love nibbling on them. For food bloggers, this is wold be so pretty to have in your photos!

Last, but not least another Trader Joe’s product. I may have shared it with you in the past, but I truly love these Spicy Soy & Flaxseed Tortilla Chips. They remind me of Doritos. They are 140 calories a serving but contain 4 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. I think that is great. I have to say these are probably one of my favorite tortilla chips.  These are one chip that I could very well eat a whole bag in one sitting.  I know, how bad is that?

Well my Friends, that is it for me today. Stay tuned for a special blogger guest tomorrow.

Have a super great day!

Toodles,

Jennifer
