Hi Everyone,
Happy Smoothie Monday! Today I have for you a simple, yet classic, yet tasty smoothie recipe. It’s funny I get ideas for recipes and I think how can I zip it up, change it up and make it different? So I add this and that to my recipe and I have something new, fun and creative. Then when I get a ummm, brain fart, I don’t know what to make or how to make it better, then I realize, I change things up so much I skip the basics! So today’ recipe is what I think is a basic smoothie and I have to admit amazing tasting! I’m telling you, sometimes sticking to simple is the best way to go! So today I share with you my Blueberry Cream Smoothie.
I am loving this smoothie! It kind of tastes like blueberry pie! It’s creamy, thick, has the perfect balance of blueberries and vanilla which makes it so good! Plus the recipe is so big you can share it with a friend!
For the recipe I used Tillamook Vanilla Greek Yogurt, frozen blueberries and milk. I blended it all together and presto I have a the perfect smoothie. For the milk, you could also use coconut milk or almond milk if you desire.
Well tomorrow is my big day at the dentist. I am soooooo not looking forward to it. I know I will be on a liquid diet for a few days. Be prepared for drink recipes! 🙂 Maybe that will jump-start me back to my fitness routine? I have to admit I have slacked off. I have been so busy at work and blogging that I kind of skipped the exercise. So a couple of days of rest, maybe a little weight loss and liquid food should push me to get off my butt and move!! I can only hope!
- 5.3 oz vanilla greek yogurt (I used Tillamook Farmstyle Greek Yogurt)
- ½ cup blueberries, frozen
- 1 cup non-fat milk, plain
- 1 tsp. honey (optional)
- Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.

Well my friends, I have lots to do today! I’m trying to get some recipes done this week because I have no idea how I will feel about cooking this later this week?
Have a super fab week!
Toodles,
Jennifer
