Hi Everyone,
Happy Smoothie Monday! I have to tell you I was invited to the best event on Thursday evening in San Francisco. Tillamook was having a pop up Farmers Market in the city. It was a store front shop with all Tillamook items and goodies. They had everything from grilled cheese sandwiches, wine, beer, ice cream, dips and more. Oh and yogurt sampling, my favorite! If you were in the city, I hope you were able to visit.
At the vent, we were given goodie bags, and you know what was in the bag? Nothing! They said go shopping! What? The shop was set-up like a grocery store with freezers and refrigerators chock full of ice cream, cheese, yogurt, butter and sour cream. I got to fill my bag up with whatever I wanted. I came home with a kaboodle of cheese, yogurt and yes 3 containers of ice cream. It was the best shopping trip ever. To boot they even were giving out home-made waffle cones filled with ice cream. OMG!! I sampled them all and went with the Oregon Blueberry Ice Cream. I am not a blueberry fan, but I fell in love with the ice cream. It tasted like blueberry pie! The gentlemen behind the counter was so nice and funny! The whole crew that worked at the event were so nice, accommodating and happy! I guess I would be happy too with all of this yummy food around me. I know I was happy just being there.
Just before I had my ice cream, I stopped by the yogurt sampling area. You know I can’t resist yogurt and I sampled there new Plain and Simple Greek Yogurt! This yogurt is amazing! It’s plain, creamy, 130 calories for 1 cup, 9 carbs, 23 protein and only 6 grams of natural sugar from the milk. They told me it’s not sold in California yet, but will be coming this way soon. So yes I stocked up on it too! The girl who worked the yogurt area was also very nice. She explained to me the different kind of yogurts they carried and even knew the nutritional information without looking! Now that’s my kind of girl! I also had the honor to speak to the President of Tillamook; Patrick Criteser. He told me it took 2 years to create their greek yogurt, well I have to say job well done! I love their yogurt and especially the coffee flavor.
Since we are talking about yogurt, and I already mentioned that Tillamook’s Coffee house blend flavored yogurt is my favorite, I thought, why not make it into a healthy, filling smoothie? So today I have for you the Coffee House Protein Smoothie.
This smoothie is amazing! It’s, creamy, rich, thick and has the perfect coffee taste with a hint of vanilla. Yum! It’s made with Tillamook Coffee House Farm Style Greek Yogurt, vanilla protein powder and milk. Blend together for the ultimate coffee flavored smoothie. I swear I could drink these all day if they weren’t so filling!
- 5.3 oz container of Tillamook Farmstyle Greek Yogurt Coffeehouse Blend
- ¾ cup non-fat milk
- 2 tbsp. vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup ice
- Add all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Well Guys that’s it for me! If you want to find out more information about Tillamook you can go to there website here. I have to tell you in my opinion you simply must check out their greek yogurt and ice cream. They are both out of this world!!
Have a super fab week! For me it’s off to the dentist today, I am not looking forward to it. I need to have my Wisdom tooth pulled, so I am guessing it’s smoothies, yogurt and ice cream for a few days! I’m not going to complain about that! 🙂
Toodles,
Jennifer
