Yum Yum Wednesday – Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese

Hi Everyone,

Normally on Yum Yum Wednesday I re-post a recipe that I made in the past.  But since it is Yum Yum Wednesday, I thought instead that I would share with you a new product that I found and share with you a recipe that I made with it and let me tell, it is so good!  So let’s get to it, my Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese!  Yum!!!  Now this is what I call a Yum Yum Wednesday!

For today’s post I teamed up with Annie’s Homegrown to help celebrate their 25 year anniversary.   Annie’s products are made with real ingredients. That’s why Annie’s uses all natural ingredients and organic products.  They do not contain artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.  Plus for the cheese in this recipe, it comes from cows that are not treated with growth hormones or rBST.  It’s 100% real cheese!  For this recipe I used Annie’s Homegrown Shells & Real Aged Cheddar Cheese.  I went with the shell shaped pasta but I was tempted to make it with the rabbit shaped pasta (how cute is that?), but I thought shells would hold the chicken better!  🙂

Oh I should tell you a little bit about the pasta! It’s creamy, cheesy, chock full of chicken and has the perfect amount of hot sauce. I was so stoked when I tested this recipe! It is so me and it will definitely make my weekly rotation. Oh yah!!!

The recipe is so easy to make too!! I just used two boxes of Annie’s Shells & Real Aged Cheddar, followed the directions on the box and then when I mixed the cheese sauce with the pasta and I added Franks Hot Sauce and Chicken. Amazing!! I kid you not, this is an amazing dish! I LOVE it!!  LOVE it I tell yah!!
