Peanut Butter and Apple Oat Balls

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you the first balls of the year!  You know how I love my balls!  And why is it so fun to say? I maybe a little immature.  he he   Anyway, I have been loving the combo of apples and peanut butter lately and I thought, why not make it into a raw cookie dough balls?  Balls….

These little balls are full of peanut butter and apple flavor with just the right amount of cinnamon and super low in sugar. I only used a teaspoon of maple syrup to sweetened it up. When you pop a ball in your mouth they just melt. Oh baby, so yummy and my gosh so easy to make!!!

To make these delicious, healthy, gluten-free little balls, all I used was natural peanut butter and apple sauce. So easy!! For the oats, I used Trader Joe’s gluten-free rolled oats and processed it in the food processor to make a flour like consistency. These only take just a few minutes to make. I love that it’s all natural and so darn good. makes for a perfect little snack.

Let me tell you these were not easy to photograph! I made these the other night and the pictures turned out horrible!! Then the next day I took pictures in the afternoon, hoping for good light and nope still looked like crap. Little Jenny suggested taking them outside since it was overcast and sure enough she was right. Finally they turned out., not perfect, but way better.  You’ll have to forgive the frosty look to them, they were in the freezer. Oh, you can freeze these balls and let them sit out for a couple of minutes and they turn out all nice and soft.
