Hi Everyone,
Happy Monday Smoothie! Well it’s that time of year where the weather is all over the place. One day its warm, the next day it’s cold and our bodies don’t know what way is up! That’s why I created today’s smoothie, The Superman!
This smoothie will fight off all germs, sickness and colds that will come your way! It contains 168% vitamin C!! Major power boost, plus it has 25% B-6, 15 % Vitamin E, 23.7% Vitamin A and 822mg of Potassium which is great for after a workout!! Yes the Superman Smoothie will fight is all!!
The Superman Smoothie is made with 3 simple ingredients, a frozen banana, frozen mango and 1 cup of orange juice. It tastes amazing! You can actually taste everything in it. The first sip is the orange than you get the banana and last, but not least a hint of mango. It’s such a light tropical smoothie that will scare off anything that comes your way!!
- 1 cup orange juice, (I used Trop50)
- ½ large banana, frozen
- ½ cup mango, frozen
- Add all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.
For a protein boost, you could have plain greek yogurt or protein powder.
This drink was a hit with my Husband and I simply love it! It’s a nice sweet treat that will give you an energy boost that will get you through the rest of the day and you know we all need that on a Monday!! Plus it will kick off and fight all those pesky germs! 🙂

Superman Smoothie sounds delicious. The only problem is figuring out whether to add Greek yogurt or protein powder… probably the latter. Looking forward to making this.

Thanks Susan, if it was me, I’d add greek yogurt with a pinch of stevia! However, I tend to have a thing for yogurt! 🙂
