Hi Everyone!
How are you today? You will have to forgive me, but I am rushed for time today, since I am writing this on Thursday night. I will be away all weekend and not able to provide a recipe for you and I wanted to be sure to have a smoothie for you for smoothie Monday! When I was at the Las Vegas airport last week, they had a Jamba Juice in it and I haven’t had Jamba Juice in forever. I ordered a smoothie that was so good that I had to duplicate it at home. So here is the Strawberry Pizzazz Smoothie!
This smoothie is cold, frosty, sweet and oh so good! It’s so simple to make too! I made it with strawberries, banana and orange juice. Added a pinch of stevia and some ice. This drink is so refreshing and the flavors go together so nicely. The strawberries, add a pinch of sweetness, and the orange juice adds a pinch of tang. The banana brings it all together and makes it very creamy. I wanted a cold drink so I added some ice to it, you can see the ice really gives it a chill.
- 1 small banana, frozen
- 1 cup strawberries, frozen
- 1 cup orange juice (I used Tropicana 50)
- 1 cup ice
- ½ tsp. stevia
- Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
You’ll have to forgive the pictures. I made this late Thursday night and the lighting is horrible. I like to make my smoothies on Saturday morning, where I have nice sunlight. One last thing, strawberry season is just about over, get your strawberries and freeze them. The you will have sweet strawberries to get you through the cold season! I already froze a ton of strawberries so I will have them when the craving hits!
I told you this would be a short post today. I have to go pack my bags and go to bed, 2am comes around pretty quickly!
Have a great week!
Toodles,
Jennifer
