Strawberry Lemonade Frappe

May 14, 2013 By Jennifer @ PB and P Design 43 Comments

Hi Everyone,

Today I have for a refreshing summer drink that is so tasty, low-calorie and completely guilt-free, not to mention a snap to whip together.

Strawberry Lemonade Frappe

This is my Strawberry Lemonade Frappe.  The other day my friend and I went to Starbucks and she ordered off the secret menu the Strawberry Lemonade Frappe and she gave me a sip.  I was in love and knew I needed to recreate the drink.  I watched them make theirs and all they did was pour two boxes of mix together and the drink was born.  I knew I could replicate the drink but make it healthier.  I have no idea what the calories or the sugar count is on Starbucks version, but I can only imagine that it is high.  Mine is not, and it’s all natural!

Strawberry Lemonade Frappe 012a

For my drink all I used was some frozen strawberries that I froze myself and lemon juice.  I would have used fresh lemon juice, but sometimes it’s just easier using the stuff in the bottle.  Sometimes you need to cheat a little.  I added some ice, water and stevia and their you have my drink.  It’s sweet, tangy oh so perfect for a hot day!  Especially since it’s near 90 degrees today.  I can picture myself drinking these while lounging in the pool.  Now I just need a Cabana Boy to bring me my drink.

Strawberry Lemonade Frappe

The recipe makes 3 cups and the whole recipe is only 67 calories with 3 grams of fiber!  Perfect!!  I just love strawberries and I love the strawberry taste in the drink.  Not every recipe will be exact when making this.  It all depends on how sweet the strawberries are and how sweet you like it.  I like tangy and tart, but you may like a sweeter lemonade.  I would recommend adding a pinch more stevia or sugar to your drink.

Strawberry Lemonade Frappe 005a

I simply love this drink and I love that anyone can drink it.  It doesn’t matter if your gluten-free or vegan!  It’s perfect and I think kids will love it too!!!  If adults feel like spicing it up, you can add a pinch of rum to it and I can only imagine how wonderful that would be.  It would be a great drink served at Memorial Day or for a barbecue.  For me, it will be my afternoon refresher when I get home from work!

Well my Friends, off to make dinner.

Have a wonderful day!

Toodles,

Jennifer

P.S.  My drinks always needs a tad pinch of whip cream.  He he

I’m trying really hard to not put food die in my foods and to keep to natural sugar, such as “sugar in the raw” or “stevia in the raw” as much as I can. And the fact that you have done this with the lemonade makes it amazing!

Happy Monday! I’m sharing with you a rare view o Happy Monday! I’m sharing with you a rare view of my kitchen. What’s so rare about it! It’s clean. 🤣
.
So this weekend our refrigerator broke. The freezer no longer works and the fridge is not getting cool enough. Ugh!! We bought our Whirlpool refrigerator about 4 years ago and spent near $3000 for it. It sure didn’t last long.
.
After reading reviews on a million refrigerators, they all seem like crap. I need your help! Do you have a refrigerator that you recommend?
.
I saw a Frigidaire one that we are debating on, but not sure? The reviews are good, but says, they were collected from a promotion. So I’m not sure how much I trust that? Anyway, any recommendations that you have would be great!

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I mus Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I must say I was disappointed in the Super Bowl. I really wanted the 49ers to win. Anyway, this weekend I refreshed my guest bathroom.
🐰
I have to say my new favorite item is the towel holder. It’s so cute and practical. I don’t have a hand towel rack and I hated leaving my towels on my counter. I saw the towel holder from Target and had to get it. It’s the Hearth and Hand brand.
🐰
I added some bunnies for Spring and a touch of pink for some color. The hand towels are from Homegoods. They have so many bunnies and Easter decor. I had to control myself because I was with my husband. I may go back.

Happy Monday!! I have to confess to you. I still h Happy Monday!! I have to confess to you. I still have Christmas in my kitchen.😳 I don’t know where to put it, so I haven’t taken it down. It’s not a lot, but just enough to where I can’t fit it. Ugh! Please tell me I’m not the only one.
💕
I did do one little spot for Valentines, which I think is so cute. I love decorating with Valentines candy. I can’t resist the pinks and the conversation hearts. I do not plan on going all out decorating this season, as time is going so fast, but I may add some hearts here and there.

Hi Everyone! With spring around the corner, now is Hi Everyone! With spring around the corner, now is the time to get your chores done, so when the warmer weather arrives you can enjoy it. My goal is to refresh my bedroom. I am slowly getting rid of stuff that I no longer need and slowly adding new decor. So hopefully in a few weeks it will be done. #twopageshome
♥️
The first thing I added are these stunning customized curtains that I was gifted from @twopagescurtains. Guys, I’m in love! The curtains are just so pretty! I am loving the way it shades the sun, but still lets the light in. Exactly the look I was going for.
♥️
The curtains I chose are the “Liz Linen Drape Soft”. They are a linen curtain that is environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic, long lasting, dust preventative, and breathable. They are also wrinkle free. I didn’t have to steam them. They came right out of the package ready to hang. They also come in 38 colors and 7 shadings to choose from. There is an option for everyone.
♥️
I’ll be honest I was intimidated on ordering custom curtains. I was so afraid I would order them wrong, but I didn’t. Two Pages has a measurement finder that asks you a few easy questions and boom you have your custom curtain size. It was so simple.
♥️
If you are looking for some new curtains or shades for your home, I highly recommend Two Page Curtains. I absolutely love them. They were kind enough to give my followers an 8% discount code: PBANDP. Link in bio
♥️
Are you planning on refreshing any spaces?

💙
I am going with blues in the living room. I just find blue calming and peaceful. The first area I styled is the coffee table. Sorry about the views. I have a small, thin living room.
💙
I decided to go light on the decor and add some fresh faux greenery. I hate leaving the remote controls out, so I decided to store them in a decorative box. Everything here, but the white box was bought at Target.
