Banana Creamsicle Smoothie

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a lovely Saturday!  It was kind of chilly out, so I stayed in and did some spring cleaning!  It feels so nice to have fresh clean towels in the bathroom and organized drawers.  I also cleaned up the kitchen.  It’s always so nice working in clean rooms.  My next room I have to go through is my front room.  I use it to store all my plates and props for the blog.  I really need to get some storage.  Some shelves in the kitchen would be a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, hint, hint.  I hope Hubby reads this.

Today’s recipe is simple, no special pictures, no crazy creations, just plan tasty!

When making this I had the intent of making an orange creamsicle smoothie, but it came out more like a creamy, dreamy vanilla banana smoothie with a hint of orange.  It was so good!!!  I really enjoyed it and it quenched my thirst and my craving for ice cream.

What gave it the creaminess, vanilla taste was the coconut milk and vanilla greek yogurt.  A wonderful combination!  It reminded me being in the tropics, even though I have never been there.  Sigh….  I am going today dream about laying on a beach with a Cabana Boy bringing me pina coladas all day!  Opps, off the subject, excuse me for that, but this drink I will definitely be making all summer!!  Especially if it makes me daydream.  he he
