Hello and Happy Eve before Christmas Eve!
Today I officially finished Christmas shopping! I ran to Petsmart after work and bought my bad babies there Christmas presents. There toys are made by Kong, since my Labs tend to chew apart there toys, I needed to get something durable. Maybe these will last till next year?
Today’s holiday cookie is a yummy one, one of my favorites, but I’m sorry to say, not low in calories, but lower then I thought they would be. I really tried but I couldn’t do it. I tried to get them below 100 calories but that didn’t work out, but there so good, I couldn’t sacrifice the flavor!
These are my Dark Chocolate Chip M&M’s Cookies. I seem to be making these allot for my Hubby’s work. He says there always the first cookie to go. It’s funny how different work fields like different cookies. My Husband works for Chrysler and it seems his co-workers like the chocolate chip cookies. I work for a Medical office and the biscotti and Oatmeal Raisin are the first to go. Me personally, I like all cookies, bad down fall on my part! But hey chocolate or cranberries are delish!! But the biscotti, maybe my favorite! I think I may make more this weekend!!
One thing I do LOVE about chocolate chip cookies is the dough! It’s higher in calories then a baked cookie and just plain bad for you, yet that doesn’t stop me! Don’t think of me as ewww gross, you know you eat the batter too, when you make cookies! So don’t deny it! 🙂
Today I am off work until January 3rd! Woohoo! I have no plans, but I just know the break is needed. I want to get some good old sweaty workouts in, make some fresh bread and freeze it and make some of those Pecan Crisps. Thats about all, and a dentist appointment next week. Eck! Thats where they decided what to do with my wisdom teeth. I think there coming out, so be prepared for smoothie recipes to come soon! I have a feeling I won’t want to be chewing. Oh no, that means no granola! 🙁

My Husbands friend likes my Chocolate Chip Cookies so much, he asked if he could buy me the ingredients to make him some and to put his name on the cookie. lol, I know he’s kidding, but you just knew I had to make him a gigantic cookie with his name on it! This is like 4 or 5 cookies in one!
Well it’s time for me to take off. I have to make my side dish for dinner, start laundry and head to Trader Joe’s for some stock up while I’m off!
QUESTION: What kind of treats or breakfast are you planning on making for Christmas morning? Any special traditions you have or serve? I’m still debating on what to make. Croissants, Scones or baked Oatmeal. Hmmm, need help, what should I make?
Have a wonderful day!!!
Yum! Very festive 🙂
We make Christmas brunch w/ a breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls!
The cookies look so good! I didn’t make a single cookie this year! As for breakfast, I made some eggnog pancakes for dinner the other night. I think that I will be making them again for breakfast. They were delish!
These look amazing. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to you as well!
Merry Christmas Eve, EVE! I would go for this cookie in a heartbeat! I’m sure everyone loved them! Our Christmas tradition has been eggs benedict, but since we’re trying to be healthier this year, I’m not sure what I’m going to do…I may make it. We have been traveling (and didn’t this year) so it’s usually ordered for room service. I’m sure whatever you do it’ll be delicious!
Sometimes you just gotta say “f it” and make a totally full fat but awesome cookie. It happens (every week, in my case). These sound delicious!
Merry Christmas, love!
