Dark Chocolate Heart Truffles – I buy these for work every year!  there a nice tasty treat!  UPDATE:  I gave these to my Husband and he loves them!!

Long Stem Strawberries – This is just for Valentine’s Day, I plan on dipping them in chocolate!  Yum!

Green Cabbage – Can’t say much about it, it’s for St. Patrick;s Day and I liked it!  Nothing fancy here!

Corned Beef Round Flat – This was very good, wonderful marinade, but you need plenty of time to cook it!  UPDATE:  03/09/2013  Back in stock!!

Blood Oranges – Glad I got them, there seasonal and I love them!  The dark orange color is so cool and there so sweet!  Update:  03/09/2013 – I didn’t see these this year at TJ’s.  Hmmm…

Pamelo Grapefruit – This is huge and I love them too!  A citrus fruit, is generally favorite to consumers for its taste and high nutritional value.  pamelo looks like a grapefruit in texture and is architecture of the fruit.  However its more green than yellow and sweeter in taste.  UPDATE:  03/09/2013 I buy these every week and have them as a mid morning snack.  They are slightly sweeter than a grapefruit with a thick skin.

Golden Delicious Melon – I am curious to how this one tastes.  It sounds good.  I’ll let you know!  I love it!  UPDATE:  It’s sweet and almost has a slight pear taste to it!

Items I haven’t tried, but once I do I’ll move them into a category.

Cocoa Pearls – I haven’t tried these yet, but guessing I will use them on Cupcakes!  I still haven’t tried these.

Mango Ginger Chutney – This isn’t new, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Salmon Burgers – I never had a salmon burger, but I’m going to try this one.  110 calories a patty.

Polenta – I have not had this, so I’m not sure what to so with it, but I”m sure I’ll figure something to make with it!

TRADITIONAL CARNITA’S – THIS WAS A SAMPLE TODAY, I REALLY LIKED IT.  IT’S ALREADY COOKED.  IT WILL BE PERFECT ON NACHOS OR SMOTHERED IN BBQ SAUCE. CALORIES ARE A LITTLE HIGH, BUT ONCE IN A WHILE A TREAT IS OK, ESPECIALLY ON NACHOS!

Chicken Chili – I had this as a sample today, they put it over fries with Con Queso (in my #1  group) cheese, so good I had to buy it!  This will make a good quick dinner!

Belgium Waffles – 110 calories for one, but I thought this would make for a nice quick dessert topped with strawberries.

Whipping Cream – I love this because it’s not refrigerated and I can use just a little bit for a recipe that needs only a little bit of cream.

Red Split Lentils – I will admit to you, I have never had a lentil. I am not sure what to do with them, but I am sure I will figure something out!!

Moussaka – This is ground beef, eggplant and potatoes.  It sounds odd, but it was a sample today and it didn’t taste to bad and it only had 14 carbs and I think around 220 calories.  I didn’t think that was bad for a quick dish.  I figured that it was meat and potatoes that my Husband might like it!

Rosemary Italian Style Crackers – I haven’t tried these, but they sounded wonderful!

Cento Peeled Tomatoes – This will go lovely in a fall stew.

Dark Chocolate Coconut Caramel – I haven’t tried it but I know it will be good!  I’m afraid to open the package!  UPDATE:  03/09/2013  I can’t find my candy bar!  I never got to try it!  I wonder if my Husband took it???

2 Madagascar Vanilla Beans – This will be prefect for baking!!

Brand New Items, once they are no longer new, I’ll move them up into a category.

Crunchy Black and White Rice Rolls – These intrigued me so I had to buy them.  I haven’t had one yet, but there only 45 calories a roll.  UPDATE:  They taste like a slightly sweetened rice cake!  Little Jenny likes them, I see most of them are gone.  They are pretty filling.

10 minutes Farro, Bulgur and Barley – I never used any of these ingredients, and the bags each serve three and for under $2.00 a bag, I thought I’d give it a try!  I’m always wanting to try something new!

Trader Joe's Page 007

Organic Black Bean Soup – I thought this would make for a quick dinner and I can ad a bunch of goodness to it and make it a full meal.  I can’t wait to try it!

Trader Joe's Page 009

Cowboy Caviar Salsa – I can’t wait to try this!  It’s made with corn, black beans and Peppers!  I know I am going to love this!!

Cowboy Salsa

Season BB Pork – This was a sample at TJ’s so I picked up a bag for a quick dinner.  You just warm in the oven for 30 minutes.  I thought it would go perfect with a nice salad and mashed potatoes.  I think my Husband will like it

BBQ Pork

Powerberries – I haven’t had these yet, but I know I will like them.  The cashier at TJ’s said they are really good with a glass of red wine.  She said it brings the flavor out.  The Power Berries are Dark Chocolate filled with Cranberries, Pomegranate  Gojo Berries and I am not sure what else.  I’ll keep you updated.

Items I’ve tried and don’t really care for in particular order

Chicken Serenda – I thought this would be nice for a quick meal, it serves two and has peppers in it!  Yum!  Update:  I didn’t think this was great, I’d rate it 5 out of 10 stars.  The flavor was bland and needed hot sauce.  My Husband didn’t care for it either.

Falafel Chips – These aren’t to bad, I ripped the bag open as soon as I came home.  I think they would be good dipped in hummus.  UPDATE:  I got sick of these quick and there boring!!  Never finished the first bag.

Milk Covered Joe’s O’s – These can be addicting!  I just bought them and they are perfect for a chocolate fix!  A half cup is only 230 calories.  I don’t think thats to bad, considering I’ll only eat a few.  I’ll top them on my ice cream for a treat!  Update:  I got bored with these, there are many better things at TJ’s.

Instant Coffee – I thought this would be perfect for baking!  I can add it to brownies, cakes and bread!  I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m sure I’ll like it!  UPDATE:  I didn’t  realize it has cream and sugar in it, so I take the cream and sugar out and use it in my coffee drinks.  I like to add my own cream and sugar so I added this to the I don’t care for pile.  However it does taste good, just that I won’t buy it again.

Reduced Guilt Chicken Breasts in Poblano Sauce – This was ok, but not enough food!  Check out my review.  I put this in the I won’t buy again, because I can make my own meal like this for fewer calories and more food.

Mint Espresso Beans – I am still debating if i like them.  There good, but I’m not a huge Espresso Bean person.. I’m thinking of crushing them and putting them into cookies.  UPDATE:  Moving these because there ok, but not great!  One of those things where you just need to eat one!

Toasted Seaweed Snack – My Friend who works at TJ’s insisted I buy these.  She said they will taste gross at first, but then I will love them and crave them.  She said it will help me with my late night binge eating.  She said it satisfies your salt and crunch cravings.  I’m kind of afraid to try them.  Have you? UPDATE:  Yuck!  These were gross!  I couldn’t get past the first bite!  Not for me!!

Meat and Potatoes – Need I say more?  This has my Husband name written all over it!  I figured he would like this one night for dinner!  UPDATE 12/02/12:  My Husband didn’t care for it.  The flavor wan’t bad but he didn’t care for the potatoes.

Fresh Rice Noodles – I thought this would be great for a nice stirfry dish!!  UPDATE 12/02/12:  They taste ok, but one serving is not very much!  Two servings wasn’t enough for my Husband.

I guess you know I love shopping at TJ’s!!  It’s so much fun and I love that they have an area for all new items.  I hope you like my page.  Now tell me, what us your favorite Trader Joe’s items???

UPDATED: March 9, 2013

QUESTION:  Do you think I should change the page around to departments, like meat, produce, bread, condiments ect?

Sorry for the odd text, it changed on me, and I am trying to fix it!

Comments

  1. I love the high fiber penne – it’s great!!

  2. Trader Joe’s should be paying you an advertising fee. lol
I have always loved TJ’s. Are you familiar with their Vitamins & Beauty Aids as well? Do you think that you could post some recommendations in that area as well? I usually buy Natures Aid Vitamins & I use Oil of Olay products on my face & Nivea on my body. For shampoo & conditioner I use Matrix but I am always open to trying something new. I like serums for the face & hair as well. Let me know …

  3. the salmon burgers are delicious! i just tried them a couple of nights ago!

  4. I just found your blog and love this list because in the fall I am going to a college where the only grocery store available is a trader joes! glad to know I can stock up on everything i need there

  5. Patricia Comolli says:

Thanks so much for sharing your favorites. I made a list and made trip to Trader Joe’s. I have not had a chance to try anything much yet but love love the pumpkin granola! Can’t wait to try more.

  6. What a fabulous list! I’m beyong obsessed with TJ’s. I love the coconut oil, peanut butter, original hummus, cheap brussel sprouts, breads, and organic baking supplies!!! Love that candy cane tea too!

  7. OMG! I’m loving this page mainly because I love Trader Joe’s. I think you are going to love SkinnyScoop lists because you can create lists on all your favorites just like I did. Feel free to check out my Trader Joe’s favorites: http://www.skinnyscoop.com/list/claudia/delicious-trader-joes-foods

Look forward to seeing your comments :)

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

Hi Claudia, I’ll definitely check it out!! I’m a huge Trader Joe’s fan as you know, and I’ll love to see what items you like!

  8. What do you use the coconut oil for? I won the TJ’s weekly grand prize(yay me!) and this was included in the bag. Just found your blog, love it!

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

Thanks Debbie! I use the coconut oil for my granola, it adds a nice subtle coconut taste. You can use it to sub in anything that uses canola or vegetable, mostly baked goods, or if your making a sweet stir fry. I don’t use it that much, but randomly I find dishes that calls for Coconut Oil. It’s good to have on hand for those emergencies!! Oh, coconut cookies would be good with coconut oil, flaked coconut, and chocolate. Ok, I need dessert now!!

    • You can also use coconut oil as a hair conditioner. I will leave it in for a few hours and up to over night. It rinses out very easily since the melting point is 75 degrees.

  9. Have you tried the Sweet and Hot Mustard at Trader Joe’s? I tried it and use it if I need a little zip in about everything. They just made it seasonal but at less than $2.00 a jar it is FABULOUS!

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

No not yet! Seasonal, oh no! I hate that! Every time I like something it goes AWOL! Figures I just came from TJ’s, wish I read this first so I could of looked for it!

  10. I like to slice the polenta and crisp it up in oven with a little parmesan and pepper on top. Then I put warm marinara sauce on a plate and put the slices on top. It is yummy! Have you tried their creamy polenta from the freezer section? AMAZING. I like it for breakfast with a scrambled egg on it.

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

Sounds fabolous! I’ll try that this week. I haven’t tried the polenta yet! Sounds like a great quick meal!!

  11. I just found your website via Eat Yourself Skinny. So many good things on your list. The high fiber penne and spaghetti are tasty. Be careful as the cookie butter is back in stock! Though it is healthier than regular peanut butter. My Trader Joes will be doubling in size this summer so I am hoping for some new finds which I haven’t seen here on the east coast before.

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

Oh no Cookie Butter is back? My store doesn’t have it in yet, but there will be trouble when it does come in, better stock up on it, it seems to be a TJ’s hit!! I know you have to love the high fiber pasta, I love it! It’s healthy and my family even likes it, which is a plus because they don’t like wheat pasta, even though I still make it. I have to hit up a Trader Joe’s on the East Coast so I can see what goodies you guys carry over there.

  12. Hi Jennifer

I live in Idaho and have never heard of Trader Joe’s up to a month ago. My mom took me to the one in Chico and I fell in love with it. She had to drag me out of there. Then she showed me one by Roseville and I loved that one also. Again she had to drag me out. You are right the people that work there are the nicest. I asked one of them when are we getting one in Idaho and I guess they are looking into it. I can not wait.
    Michele

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

What were you doing in N. CA? I live about an hour or so south of Roseville. My Mom got me hooked to Trader Joe’s and I have been a fan ever since. It’s such a fun store to wander around in. I’m always finding goodies to try! Hopefully they’ll get on in Idaho. My Mom now move to N. Carolina and she said after 5years of living there, they finally opened a Trader Joe’s!!!

  13. Hi there! Okay, so there are two items you’ve gotta try at Trader Joe’s. One is the Chili Lime chicken burgers (in the frozen section, 4 come in a box) and also the Traders Joe’s brand Salsa Verde.. These are the two items that I ALWAYS have to get when I visit my Trader Joe’s. Hope you try them and enjoy them!!! :)

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

HI Amy! I just bought the Salsa Verde last week and I love it!!! I must put that stuff on everything!! I have seen the Chili Lime Chicken Burgers but I haven’t bought them yet, I don’t know why I haven’t??

  14. I LOVE TRADER JOE’S! I OFTEN BUY ITEMS THERE AND WHEN I GET HOME I WONDER WHY?? HAHA! I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU BUY THE CHERRY PRESERVES AND PUT IT ON YOGURT. I HAVE ONE IN THE PANTRY, CANT WAIT TO CRACK IT
    OPEN. :)

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

The Cherry Preserves is one of my favorites!!! I love that it’s little chunks of cherry in it! You’ll love it on you yogurt or ice cream!!

      • Sunny B. says:

Or, marinate them in Lemonade for a couple of days and you have a fabulous cherry lemonade (sweeten to taste). :)

  15. Unless you want to be addicted do not purchase the mini crispy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The are spectacular. Like you, I do all of my shopping there, and rarely go elsewhere. It’s funny because people say “what do you buy there” to me as well. The TJ near me sells these mini boxed round cheese pizzas…perfect easy lunch for the kids. I throw them in the overn, ten mins later, take them out, cool them, and pack them in the kids lunch! Their EVOO is a bargain, and the Maple Syrup is also a good deal. I have tried their chocolate cheddar cheese, which was oddly good…and the mushroom brie is another thing, I wish I never tried, because I always want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Have you tried the “mini mint ice cream mouthfuls”? They are small ice cream sandwiches made with chocolate cookies (like oreos) and mint chip ice cream. For 2 of them is only 120 calories, 6 grams of fat and 9 grams of sugar. They are fantastic! Also, I see the cocnut oil on your list. I bought this not for cooking (although I may buy another one for that!), but for me and my daughter to use on our hair! I read on Tipnut.com (check it out!) that there are many beauty uses for coconut oil including putting it onto the ends of your hair to make them smoother! I tried this yesterday, and it works!!!!!!! : )

    • Jennifer @ Peanut Butter and Peppers says:

No, haven’t had the mini mint ice cream mouthfuls yet, but they sound great!! What an awesome idea for the coconut oil, I’m going to try that on Saturday!! Thanks for the information!! :)

  17. Samantha says:

The Salmon burgers are great–I have them on hand now for when I need something fast and semi-healthy. You’ll really like the dried strawberries–my favorite is the vacuumed pinnaple chips. I love all things crunchy and this is my go-to snack instead of chips now. You’ll love TJ’s flavored yogurt–I am OBSESSED(!!!!) with it. I’ve tried many flavors and I haven’t had a bad one yet: chocolate, mocha, peaches n cream, mango’s n cream, pomergranite with a side of granola, apricot mango with a side of granola–try them all. They’re worth it!

    • I still haven’t tried the salmon burgers. I have them in my freezer at work, I need to just make them! Ohhh, I have to find the pineapple chips. I love dried pineapple. I have my yogurt in the fridge, but I’ll probably have it tomorrow. I can’t wait to try there other flavors. Yum!!

  18. I love your sight. I just found it when looking at Pinterest. I too am a Trader Joe’s fan. I live in Canada and we don’t have TJ’s there. I live close to the border and there is one about 25 miles from me so drive there every couple of weeks to stock up. At least most of their products are healthy and you don’t have to read all of the labels. Some of our favorites are the mango sausages with the mango chutney, spinach & feta sausages, the beef or chicken lasagne and the blackened chicken found by the pre-made salads. We also love the lavender and lemon verbena bar soap and the lavender dryer sachets I tried the tea tree shampoo and it is good. I also heard that the coconut oil is good to rub on your skin. I have been researching the agave syrup and I am finding medical studies that say it has more sugar content than the high fructose corn syrup and also because it comes from Mexico there are no strict regulations with the processing. My friend is a Dr. and he received a medical report a few years ago linking juvenile diabetes to high fructose corn syrup so I am assuming the agave syrup would be the same. The only difference is that it is not used in almost everything that is a processed product like high fructose corn syrup. It was interesting that the frozen lemonade at TJ’s had high fructose corn syrup in it and when we pointed it out it was pulled from their shelves. You may think you are sending a healthy lunch to school and it can be in the juice box, the bread, the yogurt, granola bar, peanut butter, etc. Multiply this times 5 in one week and there is a big problem. I have read that in some instances l tsp. of high fructose corn syrup can equal 6 tsp. of sugar. That is scary. They sure aren’t telling the whole story on the commercials defending high fructose corn syrup. I hope this wakes a few people up.

  19. Rhasti2 says:

Have you tried the black bean dip??? Amazing!! And fat free!

  20. Carolsue says:

I am hooked on the Tejava Tea — I buy it by the case at TJ’s! The only other place I’ve seen it cheaper is Stater Bros. in Southern California — up here in Northern California it’s around $1.89 vs $1.29 at TJ’s.

  21. We love the cereals – Esp the maple Pecan Granola. My husband eats it w yogurt and I use it to make oatmeal cookies. We also love the RitterSport choc bars. We used to get them in Germany and they aren’t that easy to find here.

  22. What do you do with their balsamic glaze? I bought it but really don’t know what to do with it.

My TJ’s was sampling the belgium waffles this week with cookie butter. Out of this world!!! I also love their cornbread mix with a can of green chiles added. Delicious!

    • I love the balsamic glaze! I use it on roasted vegetables like carrots. I also cooked Pork Tenderloin in a frying pan and just before it was done I drizzled some balsamic glaze over the top with a pinch of brown sugar, it turned out moist and had a great flavor. It’s also fabulous on fresh tomatoes with a pinch of olive oil

I bought the belgium waffles, but I haven’t tried them yet! What a great sampling having it with the cookie butter. Dam, I wish my TJ’s would do that one!

  23. Sunny B. says:

HI :D …I’m an employee of Trader Joe’s. Love to see you’re so passionate about our products and how happy you are with our store!! (Fyi)…we poured the balsamic glaze over fruit (tasted yummy!) Also, spread a little of your cookie butter on a croissant triangle, roll the triangle and pinch as normal, sprinkle TJ’s cinnamon and sugar grinder over the top of the croissant and bake (super yummy) – you could rotate between our cookie butter or the cocoa spread :)

    • Hi Sunny! Great to meet a fellow Trader Joe’s employee. I would like to formally welcome you to my Trader Joe’s page, as you can see I just LOVE my TJ’s!

Pouring balsamic glaze over fruit is a wonderful idea, I love that! The cookie butter in the crossant, yum! Your making me hungry with all of your recipes!! Now I need to go to TJ’s after work.

  24. I love Trader Joe’s so much, I sometimes go a couple times a week when I am craving something in particular that I forgot! A couple of my favorite sweets are the dark chocolate covered pretzels and the yogurt covered pretzels. I also love the Zen Bakery muffins for breakfast. They are really filling for muffins and are healthy and delicious. If you like muffins, try the Raspberry Blueberry Oat Bran :) My favorite frozen quick dinner is the chicken burritos. They are SO flavorful for a frozen burrito!

  25. There is really nothing at Trader Joe’s that I do not love. The barbecue ribs are out of this world…!!!!!!!
I like to take the Teajava, and add a little Passionfruit syrup (Monin brand which has very little calories, and I find it at Homegoods or TJ Maxx) and it tastes EXACTLY like the passionfruit iced tea they serve at the Cheesecake Factory! My fave!

  26. What are your thoughts on trader joes spicy black bean dip?!?! Every time I go to trader joes I pick up at least 4 jars! I’ll even eat it with a spoon!

    • I haven’t had it yet, but everyone keeps telling me to try it! Next time I go I’ll try it, maybe I’ll even make a copy cat recipe for it!! I love spicy black bean dip!! Hmmm, I have to go to TJ’s tomorrow, so I’ll definitely pick up a jar!! I’ll let you know what I think of it! If it’s as good as you say, I’ll probably eat it with a spoon too!!

  27. i’m OBSESSED with their freeze dried strawberries – i live close but not SUPER close to TJ’s, so everytime i go – i buy a TON (people tend to ask me what im making, because i buy so much, but i just plain like them.)
and i think their hummus is the best HANDS DOWN – i always get the roasted garlic hummus. YUM!

  28. This is an AWESOME post… thank you for sharing! I love TJ’s but sometimes miss things because of how they place everything. THANKS!!

  29. I LOVE the spinach kale and greek yogurt dip and found your site while searching Pinterest for it (hoping someone can replicate it since I just moved and don’t have a TJ’s near me!!). But I wanted to suggest their turkey burgers – I am a huge condiment person and can’t have a burger without a ton of ketchup, but actually like these plain! Also, their garlic parmesan potatoes in bags in the freezer aisle are really tasty!

    • Ohhh all that sounds so good! I never tried anything you suggested except for the kale and spinach dip! I heard good things about there turkey burgers, I have to get them next time I”m at TJ’s. The potatoes sound like a great quick side dish to go with dinner! Yum!!

  30. Love Trader Joe’s! We like some of the samethings, but I yet it makes me want to take pics of what I get on a normal basis since it is a different in many ways. :o) Fun post!

  31. Stumbled on your blog this morning and LOVE it…I’ll be back. Just an FYI about the “seasonal” peanut butter cups. They are the same as the larger packaged ones that are sold year round. They only put the foil wrappers around them and put 5 in a pack as a holiday item. Regular items comes in milk and dark chocolates. Enjoy!!!

  32. I love Trader Joe’s Tomorrow I will go shopping at the Darien, Ct, store.

  33. LOVE Trader Joe’s my only pet peeve is they do not carry natural/organic meat!! I have asked so many times that they do, if they did i could do most of my shopping there!

  34. Have you tried their sea salt & turbinado sugar dark chocolate almonds? So good! I always stock up on those and their Bolivian coffee.

  35. Life's a Bowl says:

I am a HUGE TJ’s fan! It’s our fave grocery store and we buy so many of our “staple” foods from there :) This is my first time checking out Peanut Butter and Peppers, super cute!

  36. Tried the roasted seaweed snack (since it was one of t TJ best sellers). I could not eat one. They were awful! I don’t see how you can get used to them!

    • lol!! I tried one, actually had a bite of one and ewwww. they are gross!! Really gross!!! I threw them out! I could not ever get used to it!! Blah!! I will be updating my TJ’s page tonight or this weekend!! I have some new items to add and an update on the Seaweed Snack!

  37. such a cute website u got…n to top it u got a page on trader joes….!! its our fav grocery store….! suprised u havent mentioned the Pecan Pralines…or the Trail mixes….or maybe i missed those… keep updating…i m gonna try n get some pumpkins….!

    • I never tried the Pecan Pralines. I saw them today, I should of picked them up! I bet they are good! I normally don’t buy trail mix for some reason, but I should! I will pick some up next time I’m there! Thank you for the compliment, have a great weekend!!

  38. Amie Foster says:

I LOVE Trader Joe’s frozen Belgium Waffles! They are sooo good, unlike any frozen waffle I have ever had. The outside is perfectly crisp and the inside is nice and fluffy! Definitely need to try them if you have not already!:)

  39. Looks like Trader Joe’s should hire YOU! I love so many of these items, and there are some ingredients that TJ’s just does better. I always recommend it to people, and they think that the prices would be too high. Really, they’re extremely competitive, and sometimes, they have the best deal out there! Thanks for such a comprehensive list of awesomeness!

  40. I finally made it into a Trader Joes!! In short, it was amazing. I made sure to get the cookie butter! They were also handing out samples of Pear Apple Cider, which was delicious, I purchased that among many other things as well. I really wish the store was closer to me, I had to stop by on my way home after a trip. I’m so happy I finally lost my Trader Joe virginity :)

  41. I’m so jealous, the closest trader joe’s is over 700 miles away. i wrote to them hoping i could order on line but they don’t do that. my daughter lived in new hampshire and she loved it, she has since moved here to florida when she came she bought a ton of stuff from TJ’s, i couldn’t believe the prices!i even wrote to them telling them we need them here in st. augustine but they told me they were not thinking about coming that far south.. boo hoo!i enjoyed all the comments. but bummed out too.

  42. I tried TJ’s fire roasted frozen corn. HORRIBLE!!! Tasted like one big bag of ashes. All you could taste was a burnt flavor.

    • That terrible! I like their roasted corn, but mine never tasted like ashes. Totally Sucks!!! You know if you don’t like something from TJ’s, just take it back! Even a if you used the whole bag or 1/2 a bag, even without a receipt they will refund your money. I have done that before!

  43. I love the Wine Country Chicken Salad and eat it all the time… a small scoop on top of a big romaine/spinach salad with poppyseed dressing.
Have you tried the Mediterranean Greek Yogurt dip? Delicious, especially with their reduced fat pitz chips.
    I’ve also discovered a melon I hadn’t seen before – Galia. Amazing
I love that TJ’s brings in unusual fruit and it doesn’t disappoint.

  44. Whoa, so glad I found this post. There’s a Trader Joes down the block from my work and I’ve been wanting to go….but I’ve never been to one before!

  45. Cynthia M. says:

Made me realize how many things I’ve been missing… Some of my must haves: White Balsamic Vinegar, have tried the heavy cream…love it, natural unsalted peanut butter, white whole wheat flour, chocolate chip/ chocolate coated dunkers, cinnamon graham crackers, great price on baby spinach, broccoli slaw, pizza sauce (only jarred sauce I use), frozen Mandarin chicken dinner and I add broccoli, This grain mix they have that has cous cous quinoa, red lentils, +?? cooks in 10 minutes.

  46. I envy you having a Trader Joe’s. I used to shop there all the time when I lived in Southern California. Recently we discovered one in San Antonio (an 8-hour drive away), and bought a bunch of stuff. We love Belgian chocolate, but didn’t see the big bar you showed. We’ve tried several of their dark chocolate bars and bought a bunch of their wine. If you ever need unsweetened cocoa, theirs is quite nice. I thought I looked pretty thoroughly through the store, but I’ll have to do it again next time we’re in San Antonio… Wish they’d get one here, but it’s not likely.

  47. Kentucky Lady 717 says:

You should be on Trader Joe’s payroll…..advertising all their products that you like, etc….
Don’t have a Trader Joe’s near me, wish there were….I have heard a lot of good things about their stores and how you can almost find anything you want there….
Thanks for posting all this, I enjoyed it and hope to one day visit a Trader Joe store…..

  48. Desiree Lopez says:

I think it would definitely be alot easier and alot more useful if it was sectioned up into departments! :)
