Broccoli & Chicken Mac and Cheese

A simple, one pot pasta dish made with white cheddar macaroni and cheese, fresh broccoli and chicken.

Ingredients
  • 2 boxes Annie's Homegrown Shells White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese
  • 1 heaping cup broccoli florets, cut small
  • 6 tbsp. milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup chicken, cooked (about 8 oz)
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, add 12 cups of water. Over medium heat, bring to a boil. Add pasta and set the time for 6 minutes; stir occasionally. Once timer goes off, add broccoli and set timer for 3 more minutes. Drain pasta and broccoli in a colander.
  2. In the same pot you cooked your pasta and broccoli and add butter and milk. Over low heat, cook until butter is melted. Stir in both packets of cheese from Annie's Shells White Cheddar. Stir until smooth. Take the pot off the heat.
  3. Stir in pasta and chicken. Serve immediately.
