Hi Everyone,
I wanted to apologize for going a-wall this past weekend. When I went to Vegas my computer crashed. It was a black screen telling me to reboot and hit enter. I did that and it didn’t work! I called Toshiba and they told me that my hard drive was probably gone and that I should try to re-install Windows and see if that helps. I tried my computer everyday on the trip and nothing happened. When I went back through the airport security, I had a few hours to spare before my flight home, so I turned on my computer and, guess what? It worked. How weird is that? I was so happy, but so angry on my trip. I couldn’t check e-mails or my blog. It stressed me out because I knew I had posts to write and comments to make. I wonder if going through security the first time did something to my computer and kind of re-calibrated when I went back through? All I know, is that I am happy to be up and running again!! 🙂 I want to let you know I have read all of your comments and plan on commenting back to you. I just need time to catch-up. Three days with no computer really set me back a step and over 600 e-mails! Eck!!
The trip in general was a wonderful time and I have lots of photos to share with you later this week. Little Jenny (My step-daughter) really enjoyed herself. It was her first time gambling and she loved it, maybe a little too much. But she learned her lesson when she lost some of her hard-earned money. I learned my lesson too!!! But besides gambling we went to the Canyon Ranch Spa, saw LeReve the Dream and ate at one of my favorite restaurants Lavo’s. Plus we hit the outlets and I got some new sneakers, we ate at the Wynn breakfast buffet, which I think it the best buffet on the strip. We really did squeeze in a lot of stuff for three days. I will give more details later, but let’s get to Valentine’s Day. I thought I would share with you my Valentine’s Day recipe round-up.

Thinking dinner? How about a nice marinated grilled filet mignon? In my house, nothing is more romantic to my Husband then a nice steak.
So tell me, do you have any romantic or fun plans for Valentine’s Day? Me? Nothing so far? I think as you get older the fun of these holidays tend to go away. Everyone I know is either doing taxes, going to the doctors or have nothing planned. How romantic? But hey, my Husband may surprise me with some fun plans or maybe some flowers?? Maybe dinner out??
Well my Friends time to hit the sack! Have a great day!
Toodles,
Jen
Love recipe round ups! I get so many good ideas 🙂
Sometimes just jostling your computer around can make connections, well, un-connect (these are fancy computer words!). It’s happened to me before where my monitor just decided it wasn’t going to show anything. You should’ve taken the opportunity to not worry your blog and just relax! 🙂
It’s great to hear that you had a fun time in Vegas. The computer problem must have sucked though.
And, great recipes to use for valentines day. =)
I applaud your dedication! Way to blog on vacation!
Loving these V-Day recipes – especially the frappes! Cold beverage to go with the cold weather!
